Born and raised in Arizona, I grew up with skate and music culture fueling my creative mind and process. I am heavily influenced by the aesthetic of the west coast and south west through a myriad of advertising, product design, fashion and photography. These forms of communication throughout the decades have completely altered the way human society thinks, acts and moves throughout history. This subconscious control and use of mass reproduction is a main concept in most of my work.
I use the medium of printmaking to emphasize this idea of mass production, as it was the first of its kind to introduce replication into art. I am fascinated with history, anatomy, process, and its effect on human psyche as it relates to print making. With lithography being my favorite technique, you will find most of my work scribed into a limestone block.
